Red Eared Slider Turtles
Red eared slider turtles can eat goldfish and turtle food pellets. Their main diet is meat. Other foods that the red eared slider turtle eats are earthworms, wax worms, crickets, silkworms, aquatic snails, blood worms, shrimp, krill, meal worms, mustard greens, dandelion greens, collard, carrots, squash, green beans, water lettuce, duckweed, azolla (fairy moss), and frog-bit. Never feed your red eared slider turtle iceberg lettuce because it contains very little nutrition. Although you can feed your turtle a small portion of romaine lettuce.
